Pre-Code Records was founded in 2005 by Matthew Gordon of Columbus, Indiana as a means of publishing his own musical output as well as that of like-minded friends and acquaintances. The first Pre-Code release was his own album “Warm and Mandatory,” an emotionally random collection of short keyboard instrumentals composed and recorded between 2001 and 2005.
