THE ANONYMOUS QUE PASA
Listening to AQP is like your head exploding inside a
Pac-Man machine. This Beatlesque pop post-punk
apocalypse, adorned with funky drum beats and
eighties-style keyboards that would make Geddy Lee weep,
is the back drop of an American opus of lost love,
failure to live up to our parents’ expectations and the
admission that we are over-indulged and over-idealized.
This is a thinking person’s rock album that is as much
fun to interpret as it is to crank up.
